Matthew L. Ryczek holds an M.A. in Liberal Studies and a B.A. in Anthropology with honors from Stony Brook University. He is currently a Full-time Adjunct Lecturer at Rikkyo University in Tokyo, specializing in English communication, discussion, and presentation. With over 15 years of teaching experience at universities in Japan and abroad, he has published research on CLIL, fluency-building, and English writing pedagogy. His interests include second language acquisition, task-based learning, and sociological approaches to education. He has presented at international conferences and contributed to academic publications in applied linguistics and liberal arts education.
