Dr. María Luisa Ballinas Aquino

Dr. María Luisa Ballinas Aquino is a doctor in urban and environmental studies from El Colegio de México, a Master of Science in Natural Resources and Rural Development from El Colegio de la Frontera Sur, a Pharmaceutical Chemistry Biologist from the Universidad Veracruzana, Graduate in Religious Sciences from the Universidad La Salle.
With 30 years of experience in teaching, in musical areas, human, social and natural sciences. She is currently a Subject Professor of the Environmental Engineering educational program at the University of Sciences and Arts of Chiapas. She is on a postdoctoral stay at El Colegio de la Frontera Sur, Department of Society and Culture. Her main research is on environmental discourses. In the educational field, she has developed topics such as solid waste management in the school environment and science education in preschool. She currently has a special interest in social retribution in postgraduate programs.
María Luisa belongs to the National System of Researchers in Mexico.
