Professor Geoff Baker is University Academic Director at the University of Bolton in Greater Manchester, UK. Professor Baker has published widely in the fields of education and history respectively and has been awarded a Churchill Fellowship for his work on teacher professional development. In addition to his career as an academic, Professor Baker spent nearly a decade as a Headteacher of secondary schools in challenging circumstances and was appointed as a National Leader of Education in recognition of the impact of his leadership.
